I haven’t had too much time to work on either one of my two remaining short stories that I’m hoping to get written by the end of this month. But I have had some time to do it. Mostly, I have been working on my Haunted House Short Story. And I only stopped doing that when I had a problem with the Word Count limitation problem that I have a lot of times with these stories.

True, I did dissolve this problem without too many more problems showing up. But for a little while there I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to have the chance to finish it this month. After all, I went to check the contest to make sure of the Word Count limitations. Only to find out that it was Restricted. I thought that I was banned from another contest. Luckily, I was wrong about that.

When I thought that I was banned, I went to the Science Fiction Short Story for this month. I barely got into though when I learned that I wasn’t banned after all. In fact, I only one section of it done before I found out I wasn’t banned. So, I went back to that Short Story. I know that I could have continued working on my Science Fiction Short Story. But I decided not to do it because I didn’t know about it until around two weeks into the month.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing time as I did on my first day off from work? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I needed to do today. Luckily, it wasn’t as bad as it usually was. We still have a few things that needed doing. But it didn’t take us all day to do it as it normally does. Unfortunately, it did take until the middle of the afternoon to do them. That’s why I didn’t get as much writing done as I wanted to do today.

Will I continue working on this Short Story after I finish writing this blog entry and posting it? That is what I plan on doing before I go to sleep tonight. And as far as I know, there isn’t anything else that needs to be done today. So, I should be able to do it. As for if I can finish this one today, I don’t know. But since I’m about halfway through it, I might be able to do it. I hope that I can. But even if I can’t, I’m going to get as much of it done as I can.
