Probably Another Overnighter

I still haven’t created or posted my second Short Story for this month. But I’m going to do it within the next day. Unfortunately, I may not be able to do that with my third Short Story. I have eight more sections left to write on this third one. And I don’t know if I can do it with less than forty-eight more hours to do it.

It’s not impossible that I can get all eight of them written with only a few days left for this contest. But I’m going to try to do it. Even if it means I need to do it all night to get it done. Which I may need to do to get it written. I hope that I don’t have to do that. But it looks like that’s what I’m going to need to do to finish this Short Story.

Why do I keep doing this? Almost every month I almost wait for the last second before I post an entry to one of these contests. I know the main reason is that I can’t use my laptop at work like everyone else. If I could do that then I probably would have enough time to write them. Of course, only having a couple of weeks to write them doesn’t help either. But it’s mostly because of work.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing done on my days off from work? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I need to do that day. I didn’t think that we needed to do that much today. But I was wrong. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing done today on my third Short Story that I’m trying to get written for this month.

I still have a couple more hours until the end of today to work on it. And at least a few more hours after that before I go to sleep tonight. That’s if I can sleep tonight. It all depends on how much I get done in the next few hours. If I can get three or four more parts written, then I may be able to get some sleep tonight. Then again, if I don’t get that many written, then I will finally have a good excuse for the lack of sleep.
