Halfway Through Part One

Only needed to write eight scenes yesterday at work to finish the first half of part one for the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that is what I did. Why is that so important? It showed me how long an hour script is going to be.

Of course, it’s a little different for me. After all, I am writing this by hand. So, I’m still not sure if what I’m writing is completely correct. I think that it is. But I won’t know for sure until I start typing it into my laptop. And I’m not ready to do that quite yet.

I thought that I was. But it’s a good thing that I haven’t started doing it with my Outlines either. That’s because I’m going to need to change some of my Scene Outline. It hasn’t happened a lot. But some of the scenes have been changed slightly from what they have been in the Scene Outline.

The scenes are still the same. But how they are written is what is slightly different. I don’t think that I will have to re-write the whole Scene Outline. That is a possibility too. I’ll just have to wait and see if I’m going to need to do that or not.

I’m just wondering if this will happen with future projects, or I will get better at it because of this one. That is something that I have been wondering about too. I can’t think about that too much right now. After all, I still have a long way to go before I finish this project.

Today I’m going to start Act Three of part one of this project. And I know that I will have at least two Establishing Shots at the beginning of this Act. I will also have one or two more during the first part of Act Three. I’m just not sure if I will get all of them written today.

Why am I writing about Establishing Shots? It’s because they are a big part of my scripts. And in a lot of ways, they are scenes too. But they aren’t scenes themselves. They are part of the scene they relate to, though. Does that make any sense to anyone but me?

Another reason why I’m writing about Establishing Shots is that I don’t know how many more scenes that I will get written today besides them. I’m hoping to get another eight or more written. But I probably won’t. a lot of that depends on how bad it gets at work today.
