The first couple of hours yesterday wasn’t too bad. I even got a little bit of writing done on the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, it was just a little bit. It was after I took my first personal care break about a half-hour later that it started to get a lot like Friday than Thursday.

After I took my personal care time, I went out to my car to get some Air Conditioning. Which I did for about a half-hour. Before I did that, I turned off my two fans. After all, I didn’t want a fire to start somehow while I was out there. I didn’t really think that would happen. But anything is possible with the site that I’m working at. Anyway, when I went back inside after my AC break, it was more like a Friday than a Thursday.

True, that steam room didn’t last very long. But it still felt like Friday for quite a while. For about an hour, I think. Because of how I was feeling, I didn’t get any more writing done yesterday at work. I looked over at the paper and pencils a lot of times. And I thought about doing some more. But I just didn’t feel like it. I really tried. It wasn’t enough, though.

The next couple of hours were very bad. It was like a steam room from Friday again. Maybe that’s why I took an hour break in my car after my second personal care time. Of course, I still had my work to do. And I did do it from my car. But because it was a Saturday, it wasn’t too bad. At least I don’t think that it was. I may find out in a day or two if it was.

I don’t care anymore. It’s bad enough that I must wear long-sleeved shirts in weather like this. But to work in a steam room when no one else does, that’s too much. If they want to fire me then that is their big mistake. Because I will fight back. Not physically, but I will fight them. I don’t think it will come to that. But it might.

Unfortunately, today will probably be the same as yesterday at work. After all, the weather is supposed to be about the same. It’s supposed to be in the upper eighties. Which most likely means it will feel like close to a hundred. If it’s not a few degrees above that. What does that mean for my writing? Unfortunately, it probably means that I will get very little of it done. If I get any of it done at all.
