Two New Short Stories So Far

Only a couple of days late this month, but two of the short stories that I have been writing on a monthly basis lately have prompted me. And I have started working on both of them. Well, I have sort of started doing that. One is still in the planning stages within my mind. But the other one I have already started writing.

The one that I have started is the WDC Short Story for this month. True, I haven’t gotten too far with it yet. But I have started it. Basically, all I have gotten is the title for it. And the Title Description. I’ve also got the part single sentences written. The only thing missing is the story itself. And I have even started that too. Unfortunately, I have only gotten the first part of it written.

As for my second story for this month so far, I already know what it’s going to be about. At least I do most of it. The reason I haven’t done any writing on it yet isn’t that I haven’t gotten a story. It’s because I’m going to concentrate on the WDC Short Story first. After all, the WDC story is the most important one. If I don’t get any other story written, it’s not going to be the WDC one.

I don’t know about the third contest that I have been writing for lately. But I probably will in another week or two. That’s the way it has been for quite a while. So, I’m not surprised that I will only have about two weeks to finish it. That I don’t like. But since I got two others to work on, it doesn’t bother me. Especially, since one of those two is the WDC Short Story.

By the time I get the WDC Short Story written, the third one will probably come out. And I can start working on it too. The two weeks only isn’t that big of a problem for me. It just means I need to remember whatever the prompt is for that month. And that usually doesn’t take me too long to do. I can still get it written. It’s just not easy to do until I get that prompt.

Will I continue to work on the WDC Short Story after I finish writing and posting this blog entry? That is my plan. And I will probably try to write at least one more part to it. Then again, I might not. After all, I need to get up early again tomorrow. So, I may not have the time to write anything more on it before I go to sleep tonight. But I do plan on trying to do it, though.
