They May Finally Get What They Want

Unfortunately, I’m going back to work today. At least I think that I am. It wouldn’t be the first time that I have been terminated from a post until I got to it. I just hope that this isn’t one of those times. As far as I know, I have to go to work today. But then again, I may not. I will know for sure just before I get there. If I don’t find out about it before then.

I don’t think that they are going to terminate me today. But it may happen anyway if they haven’t ‘fixed’ the AC at my post. My last four days have been very bad for my health because of working in a steam room there. Something that only I had to do. No one needs to worry. I know that it has been just me doing it. But I can’t prove it.

I’ve been writing that it has been a steam room. But after thinking about it the last couple of days, they aren’t the right words for it. It has been a sauna in there. And if the AC hasn’t been fixed for me too, they may finally get what they have wanted for almost two and a half years. They have wanted to terminate me. Unfortunately, they may get their way after today.

It’s not just the AC that may kill me today. The weather may help a lot in doing it too. After all, it’s supposed to be raining and thundering all day today. And if that’s true, I may have no choice but to stay inside my post most of the time. Of course, I may need to go outside some of that time in that weather because of work. But I may not. It all depends on how busy it gets at work today.

Will I get any writing done today at work? That depends on how bad the weather and work are. If the weather is as bad as it’s supposed to be, then I might not get too much writing done. Especially, if work is as bad as it has been lately on a Wednesday. Of course, it also depends on whether I’m working in a sauna or not. If I can work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project today, I will.
