There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Only About Two Hundred and Fifty Words Left I almost had another missed blogging day. Luckily, I looked at my laptop clock and was relieved that I only had about an hour left to write this blog entry for today. Why did I almost miss it? It’s because of my WDC Short Story for this month. I was so caught up in getting it done that I lost the track of time. Luckily, I didn’t lose it completely. At first, I didn’t think that I would be able to get too much of this story written today. Especially, since I didn’t get the chance to work on it after work for the last five days. One thing after another stopped me from working on this story. I wanted to work on it. And I knew that I needed to do it. But I couldn’t bring myself to working on it. That wasn’t the only reason why I didn’t think that I would get this story done today. What is the usual reason why I don’t get too much, if any, writing done on one of my days off? Especially, my first day off. No, it wasn’t because of a lack of sleep. It was because I and my brother had a lot that needed to be done today. And I didn’t think that I would have time to work on it. Boy, am I happy to be wrong about that. Not only have I had the time to work on it, but I’m also almost finished with it. I only have about two hundred and fifty words left to finish it. And I should have plenty of time to do that before I go to sleep tonight. True, I don’t know if I will be able to do a Grammarly check on it or create it on WDC tonight. But I should be able to finish it. I also don’t know if I will be able to do any writing on my second Short Story for this month. But I don’t think that I will. I’ll be lucky if I can create my first Short Story before I go to sleep tonight. I hope that I can, though. After all, I know that I’m going to be very busy tomorrow too with my brother. We have a lot that needs to be done. That means I may not have too much time, if any, to work on my second Short Story.
