I submitted this comment to "Comedy Newsletter (September 1, 2021)" : "I attempted to assemble a bookcase. Once I got it all together and set up, I found that it leaned to one side, and one of the shelves sagged in the middle. Needless to say I've never attempted to assemble anything else."

         I am thankful ..
                    ...for the fresh brewed black coffee I had this morning,
                    ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
                    ...for the slice of chocolate cream pie I had to go with my coffee.
                    ...that I have finished poem #47 of the 100 I am writing for the centenary of the Ascension of 'Abdu'l-Baha.
                    ...for the dried cranberries I have for my morning snack.
                    ...that I was able to pay off the Payday loan in August.
                    ...for the merit badges I received between 8/25/21 and 9/1/21
