A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Ten, the Hard Way Despite that I had to do another Incident Report yesterday at work, I still got ten scenes written for the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That includes eight numeric scenes and two Establishing Shots. And I did it even though I had to write another IR. The IR happened just after I started my third hour yesterday at work. True, it only took me about a half-hour to write it. But it’s still a half-hour that I could have used to get one or two more scenes written. It probably would have been just one scene. Then again, it may have been two because of the way that I was writing them. Normally, I let writing an IR stop me from wanting to write anymore for that day. But I didn’t do that yesterday. In fact, it was probably just the opposite. I used that anger to write even more than I thought that I was going to write. Not only did I end Act Three of this part of my project, but I also got the first five numeric scenes written for it too. That IR wasn’t the only thing that slow me down slightly when it comes to my writing yesterday at work. It was also work. After all, it was very busy there yesterday. One of the busiest Thursdays that I have seen in a long time. If it wasn’t the busiest ones. That’s how busy that it was at work yesterday. I just hope that I can do as well today as I did yesterday at work. Of course, I don’t mean writing up another IR. But getting ten more scenes written for this part of the movie. If not even a few more than that. I would really like it to happen. I’ll probably get lucky if I get five to seven written. After all, it is a Friday aka another weekday.
