Still Feeling Terrible About Not Writing

I still didn’t feel very good about what happened to me a couple of days ago on Wednesday yesterday. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing done on the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Yes, I did get a little done on it. But it was only another three scenes. And even for a weekday that’s not very good. I should have gotten at least five of them done. But I just didn’t feel like doing it.

Of course, I wanted to get more scenes written. But I just couldn’t force myself to write them. I got my writing supplies out. And I started to write. What I did get done I liked. Unfortunately, it was only three scenes. Normally, I can blame work for me not getting too much writing done. And in a way, it is work that’s at fault. At least it is with the company I work for. Not where I work at. Even though, they are kind of to blame too. But I’m the one who let them get to me. And I paid for that with my writing yesterday.

It was very, very busy at work yesterday. And that is a big reason why I didn’t get more writing done. Especially, since I had to go outside my guard post quite a bit yesterday at work. But it’s not the main reason. I am that reason. It was an extremely big lack of concentration on my part. And I’m still feeling that way as I write this blog entry for today. In fact, I don’t really feel like writing this entry. But I don’t want another missed blogging day either. So, I’m forcing myself to write it.

Hopefully, if I can get some sleep tonight, I will be feeling a lot better when I go to work today. If that’s true, then I may be able to make up for the last few days when it comes to working on this project. Of course, it’s not just my feelings. Work has a lot to do with how much writing that I get done today. Not just what is going on with the company that I work for, but where I work at. And how busy it is today. I hope that it’s not too busy for a Friday. If it isn’t, then I hope that I will get a lot of writing done today. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
