This Month is Running Out Again

     

     Didn’t get too much sleep last night. In fact, it was only about three hours of sleep. But I have a very good excuse for doing it. Normally, the reason why I don’t get too much sleep is that I can’t do it for one reason or another. It’s different this time. I didn’t get it because I worked a double shift yesterday at work.

     That means I didn’t get off work until 7 AM WDC time. And by the time I got home and went to sleep, I only ended up getting three hours of sleep last night. Unfortunately, after getting up I haven’t had the chance to get any more sleep today. Usually, I can get caught up a little during the day. But I didn’t get the chance to do that today.

     My brother and I didn’t have a lot that needed to be done today. But we did have a few things to do. It also didn’t take us too long to do it, though. We were done toward the middle to late afternoon, early evening. As a result, I didn’t get any more writing done on my WDC Short story for this month.

     It’s not a total loss for this Short Story, though. I did get a chance to write a few more sections to it after work the last five days. It wasn’t too many parts. But it did get me just a little bit past the middle of it. unfortunately, I still have about nine hundred words to write before I finish it. And time is running out this month to do it.

     I should be able to get this Short Story done. But what about my second one for this month? Will I be able to get it done by the end of it? With less than two weeks left to do it, it doesn’t look like that I will be able to do it. But I still can. It probably won’t be easy to do. Especially, if I only use my days off to write them. But I can do it. And I will finish both of them. Even if it means doing them after I get home from work.
