General: Freestyle Brainstorm, World Building or Research (1) Spend at least fifteen minutes clarifying things through ""What If"" brainstorming, mind mapping (see resources at the bottom of the calendar), freestyle writing, lists, drawings or research. You may also choose to use this time to finish a previous assignment that needs more time. (2) Update your characters, definitions and settings lists as needed. What if Ruth experiences a tornado warning with the tornado lifting right before it hits her town? Maybe a lightning strike is what catches her neighbor’s house on fire during this storm. What if there is different areas of storm damage around the town? I plan to have minor delimas throughout the story to hopefully keep the reader’s interest that Ruth must solve. At times, she will express missing her husband. There will be whispers from heaven (from God and thoughts about her husband that will give her the courage she needs to go on. I will have a grief spirit that will also tantalize her along the way. She will experience all kinds of emotions through her grief; anger, fear, frustration, depression, etc... I am planning to make up the last outline revision I missed previously, today. |
