Words of Wisdom: To 'Abdu'l-Baha

Words of Wisdom:
'Abdu'l-Baha

His talks encouraged us
to open our spiritual eyes,
meditate on the sacred scriptures,
and to look for the pearls of wisdom
that lay concealed in their depth.

He spoke
with the voice
of gentle authority
that came through the power
of the Holy Spirit.

Words of wisdom
that opened our eyes to see
and our ears to hear
the twin trumpet blasts1
of a new revelation
from God.
