Character: Protagonist Interview

You are a journalist. The story of your novel is complete. Interview your protagonist and ask the following questions:


(1) How is life for you now, compared to life prior to these events?

Ruth: I never knew my life could still be so full and complete without my Mike in it. We had a wonderful life together. I still miss him dearly, but I realize I still have work left to do on this earth. Mike was done with his and it's time for his heavenly rest. When I get done with mine, I will see him again and join him in that rest. Until then, I will enjoy the grand babies and tell them all about their grand Daddy and how proud he would have been of them. I hope that my story will help others who are grieving get through their grief and grow closer to Jesus. Even though I was angry at God for awhile for taking Mike, I don't think I could have made it through my grief without him.

(2) How did the events of your story change you?

Ruth: I grew closer to God. I learned to handle things I never thought I could handle. I learned I am stronger than I think. I am okay as long as God is in control, and he is always and forever in control rather I let him be or not.
