Not as Bad as I thought

With only three sections left to write on my second Short Story for this month, I figured that I would get it written before the end of today. What I didn’t know is if I would get it written before I went to sleep last night. It didn’t take me as long as I thought it would take me to do it. Not only did I get those three parts written, but I had time to do a Grammarly check on both of my short stories for this month.

I also had time to enter them into the contests. It’s a good thing that I did that too. if I hadn’t, I may not have had time to do it today. That’s how busy that I have been today. From very early this morning, until almost the end of the day, I have been busy doing things that I needed to get done today.

It isn’t that bad, though. I was very busy today. But it wasn’t so bad that I probably wouldn’t have gotten them posted. Of course, that wouldn’t have been true if I hadn’t gotten the Grammarly checks done before I went to sleep last night. If I hadn’t gotten the last three sections written last night, I definitely wouldn’t have gotten them entered before it was too late this month.

luckily, for once I was wrong about how long it was going to take me to finish these last three parts for this second Short Story. I did get it written. The big problem now is how good are they. With me rushing them like I had to do this month, they may not be as good as I want them to be. Especially, my second one. But I think that they are both pretty good. Unfortunately, I’m not one of the judges for these contests.

What am I going to do before I go to sleep tonight? I know what I should be doing. And that is to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After all, I haven’t been able to do that last week because of working on these short stories. I want to do it. And I should do it. But I probably won’t. Mostly, because I’m kind of tired. I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep this last week because of these two short stories. And I’m probably going to be going to sleep kind of early tonight.
