So, I guess the first question could be: Why am I doing this blog?

It's simple - I got used to it.

I just finished university. A Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Editing. It's my third Bachelors Degree, no big deal. Seriously. But one of the things we did was keep a writing journal, detailing the sorts of things we encountered with our writing.

I found that to be a rather interesting way of keeping my mind focused a little better on what I should have been writing, and it became a strong habit. Now, two weeks after finishing, and after churning out a 95k word story for NaNoWriMo, I decided I needed to do it again to refocus my brain.

Okay, cool. So why here at WdC when I have not been overly happy on this site? At uni, my peers could read and comment, and I think that is why I am doing a blog here and not on a personal website. While I know the interaction will not be as frequent as it was at uni (we had to comment on the blogs of others), I am more likely to get something.

I hope.

So, that's the introduction. I don't know how frequent this will be, but please feel free to comment if you so desire. Don't be shy. I don't bite that often.
