No Time for Writing Today

Don’t let the title for this blog entry mislead you. It’s not quite as bad as it appears to be. Unfortunately, it’s true, I didn’t get any writing done on my only Short Story that I’m doing this month. The other one that I’m still thinking about doing I’ve got a couple more weeks until the middle of February to finish.

There is a very good reason why I didn’t get any writing done on this Short Story. Like my blog entry title says, I didn’t have any time to write it. That’s how busy I have been today doing what needed to be done. From early this morning until this evening, I have been extremely busy doing what I needed to get done today.

This blog entry is the first chance that I have gotten to get on my laptop to do any writing. And as soon as I got on it, I started writing this blog entry. Once again, I almost didn’t get this blog entry written and posted by the end of today. I should get it finished on time. But this has been happening to me a lot lately. Something needs to be done. I’m just not sure what to do about it.

I have been thinking about that a lot lately. And I’m not sure if there is anything that I can do about it. Other than overlapping the two blogs that I’m writing right now. It would be a little awkward writing about Sunday on a Monday morning before I go to sleep that Monday. After all, it is a different blog. But I can’t think of anything else that I can do.

Speaking of thinking, my two blogs haven’t been the only thing that I have been thinking about today. I have also been thinking about my Short Story. And I have had plenty of time to do it too. It’s ready to be written. All I need to do is find some time to write it. Something I may be able to do tomorrow. At least as far as I know I don’t have anything that needs to be done tomorrow.

It’s not as bad as it seems, though. Last Tuesday, I did get some writing done before I went to sleep. It wasn’t too much. But I did get the paragraphs that I’m going to be using as a guideline for writing this Short Story written after work last Tuesday. Hopefully, I will be able to work on it tomorrow during my second day off from work.

Will I start writing it today after I finish writing this blog entry and posting it? That is what I want to do. But I probably won’t be able to do it. The only reason why I’m doing it now is that I don’t want to miss any more blogging days. Not only am I tired from doing what needed to be done today, but I also didn’t get too much sleep last night. I’m probably going to be going to sleep soon after I finish posting this blog entry.
