There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Almost Half Written Despite only having a couple of weeks to write my second Short Story for this month, I have done a very good job with it. I’m about halfway through it. That means that I only have around a thousand words left to write before I finish it. Will I finish it today? No, I won’t. But there is a very good chance that I will do it tomorrow. The big question isn’t will I finish writing this Short Story. It’s when I will be doing it. Will I finish it by the end of my second day off from work? Whether I get to do a Grammarly check on it or create it or post it, I may get it done tomorrow. I don’t know if I can get the above done too. But I should be able to get it finished by then. I know that we have a few things that we need to do tomorrow. But it shouldn’t take us that long to do. There should be plenty of time left for me to finish writing this Short Story. If something happens that I don’t know about, and they're often is, I should be close enough that I can get it completely written, checked, created, and posted by next Monday aka the end of this month. True, I don’t want to wait until the last second to enter this contest. But I may have to do it this month. After all, I have had only a couple of weeks to write it. For some writers, that may be a problem. But for me, it just makes me better at my writing. Is this going to be one of the best short stories that I have written? If not my best one. I think that it is. But I may be a little bit biased on that. Only those who read it can be a judge on that. It’s too late for me to plug it or ask for a review. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be read and reviewed. I like being read and reviewed. Good or bad or somewhere in between, it helps me to become a better writer. I think that this is one of the best short stories that I have written. It’s up to those who read it to tell me if I’m right or if I’m wrong.

After all, this has already been translated into a language that we all know and understand - English (German, French, Italian, Russian, etc.). |
