American women are dangerous! |
"Marry Poppins!" the little girl exclaims. Marry is preoccupied kissing Mrs. Winnifred Banks. Marry's posture is straight and she holds her umbrella closed. Mrs. Winnifred Banks is pressed against the wall. "Marry Poppins!" the little girl Jane Banks tries to break the two women apart. Her mother Mrs. Winnifred Banks puts her hands on Marry Poppins' shoulders. "Where-where are the other applicants?" the mother looks about the room. Marry Poppins touches up her nose with a powder puff... "They must have gone," Marry Poppins replies calmly. "Why were you kissing my mother?" Jane Banks queries. "Go to your room," Mrs. Winnifred Banks commands. The little girl complies... "Do I have the position?" Marry Poppins queries. Mrs. Winnifred Banks looks about the empty room. "Well, I suppose your it," Mrs. Winnifred Banks is seated at the office table. "Would you like to kiss again?" Marry Poppins asks. Mrs. Winnifred Banks clears her throat... "Let's leave that for now," the young mother of two children replies. Marry Poppins stands Mrs. Winnifred Banks up. She kisses the young mother full on the mouth. They adjourn to the bedroom... Mr. George W. Banks comes home. He cannot find his wife. The maid takes his hat and coat. Mrs. Winnifred Banks comes out of the bedroom in a nightgown. "It is the middle of the day dear," Mr. George W. Banks replies. Marry Poppins pops out of the bedroom fully dressed with her umbrella. "Who-who?" Mr. Banks is confused. Mrs. Winnifred Banks takes a deep breath, "This is our new nanny; Marry Poppins." "Oh? Well, good work Winni! Let's have dinner," Mr. Banks is hungry. P.S. "I wonder if Glen Beck reads this?"
