a descent into poetry insanity

Okay
she said “D'accord,”
but she meant: all right
and I don't believe you
and you're not wise enough
nor do I care enough to attempt
to change your mind,

and I'm curious where you think
you're going to go with this folly
,
and don't blame me, you're the one
who's making the biggest mistake
of your life
, all with the flavor
of I told you so, or rather
I will tell you so in the fullness
of time
, and with that single word,
the argument was settled,
and she sailed away with her lips
pursed against any further
flourish of meaning.

April 11—Somehow incorporate a word or phrase of another language into your poem

D'accord is a French word that means "Okay"
