What I Have Been Trying to Do

For a little over a month and a half, my world has been turned upside down. Especially when it comes to my writing. Most of that has to do with the short stories that I have been trying to write for the last couple of months. But it has also been my scriptwriting.

It also has been because of our move to our new house. That is what has caused the most problems with my writing or the lack of it most of the time. First, it was the move itself. Then the aftermath of that move. Getting settled into a new place and looking for a job.

Why am I writing all this? It’s because there have been a lot of changes in my writing during this time. Mostly, it’s because of my last two short stories. I have been spending all of my time writing them. As a result, up until last Sunday, I haven’t done any scriptwriting.

I briefly looked at where I left off with my Water Wars scriptwriting project near the beginning of this month. But I haven’t worked on it since I left my old job and we moved to our new house. Three days ago, was the first chance that I have gotten to work on any of my scriptwriting projects.

Working on my short stories wasn’t the only thing that changed until last Sunday. I have also changed the way I was writing. When I was working on my old post, while I was working, I worked on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least that’s what I tried to do.

On my days off, I either worked on my short stories or my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. The WDC short stories came first. And once I finished them, then I would work on my second scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to do that lately.

Of course, I did do my blog on a daily basis. At least I tried to do them. And most of the time I did. But there were a few times that I messed up on them. Usually, it was just the wrong blog. I think that I messed up on a couple of them aka I missed another blogging day.

The biggest change of all was which blog I was using for my daily updates. I could have keep them with whatever kind of writing I was doing. But if I had done that, then all of it would have been for my Other Than Scriptwriting blog. I decided early on not to do it that way.

I decided to treat these blogs to my old work schedule. After all, I didn’t know that it was going to take so long to write two short stories. But it did. As a result, I didn’t get to do any scriptwriting until last Sunday. And it hasn’t been going too well so far.
