A Great Day at Work Today

What I couldn’t do at work today was create my WDC Short Story for this month to WDC. That’s because I didn’t have internet access at work. But I did have my laptop. So, I created a Shameful Plug Page and a Please Review. Of course, I couldn’t post it to WDC either. I can now that I am at home. Unfortunately, I haven’t done that yet.

It wasn’t a hard day at work today. In fact, it was probably one of the dullest. I had trouble staying awake the last couple of hours of my shift because almost everyone was gone there for the day. That may have been a problem too since I didn’t get too much sleep last night. But it wasn’t.

That right. I only got about four or five hours of sleep last night. And I think that I know why. It was because my body wasn’t used to going to sleep that early. As a result, I didn’t get too much sleep. True, it could have been a very big problem. But it wasn’t. I would let it be one. And that wasn’t easy to do. Especially, toward the end of this final shift at this post.

I probably won’t be going back there ever again. At least not at a twelve-hour shift. If I ever go back, there at all. Not because of what I did or didn’t do, but because it has gone to an eight-hour shift. And they want who has been there from the beginning to be the guard there. So, if I do go back there, it will be because something like this week has happened, and he can’t be there.

Got a little bit sidetracked there again. Didn’t I? Where did I leave off? Oh, yeah. I was writing about how much writing I got done today at work. It wasn’t just the Shameful Plug Page and Please Review. Also got two parts of my second Short Story for this month. It’s true, that I only got three sections to it finished. But there are only five parts to this story. That means I got about twelve hundred words done on it so four.

What am I going to do after I write and post this blog entry? Normally, I would write that I was going to go to sleep right after I finish posting this blog entry. And I may still do that. But I may only get my WDC Short Story created, plugged, and review done before I go to sleep tonight. If I even do that. I am still kind of tired from not getting too much sleep last night.
