Quirks, please

quirk (n) - a peculiar behavioral habit. That's what's in the dictionary. The word just sounds funny to me. It goes along in my mind, like twitch or foible.

I don't claim any particular quirks. I used to call myself an imperfect perfectionist. I like to do things right, the first time, and when I got it wrong, I would beat myself up. I've eased up a bit as I've gotten older. I still don't like to settle, but I'm not so hard on myself anymore. Sometimes, things happen in which you have no control. Other times, impatience can cause mistakes. It is what it is. You just have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going. To do otherwise is to stagnate and die. (figuratively, not necessarily literally).

Guess that just makes me a plain, ol' normal human. LOL. If there is such a thing.
