A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Twenty in About Six and a Half Hours I don’t know what happened last week when I started writing this Story Outline for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. That’s when I barely got thirteen single paragraphs written for it. That included five for Teaser Act One and eight for Act One. If I remember correctly that was done on a Sunday aka during my twelve-hour shift at work. Then I Monday, I did sixteen aka Act Two and Act Three. And that was during an eight-hour shift. I must be getting better at this. On Sunday, I barely got a single paragraph written per hour. And on Monday, it was just under two per hour. Earlier today it was about three per hour. That’s why I got twenty single paragraphs written earlier today. Still don’t know why I only got thirteen single paragraphs written on a Sunday. The only thing that I can think of is that it was because it was the start of this Story Outline. And I always have a lot of trouble beginning my short stories, Outlines, etc. Maybe that’s what happened on Sunday. Then again, maybe it wasn’t. Who knows when it comes to me? I’m kind of surprised that I got twenty written earlier today. But I’m not all that surprised. After all, ten of them were for Tag Act One and Teaser Act Two. They are only four lines long. So were four in Act Four and one in Act Five. That means overall, fifteen of my twenty were each only four lines long. Maybe it wasn’t so lucky after all. Don’t know how many more single paragraphs I’m going to get written tomorrow morning at work. But I hope that it’s another twenty. I don’t think it will be that many. If it’s about sixteen to eighteen, I will be happy. That’s the end of Act Five, all of Act Six, and about half of Act Seven. That will only leave about fifteen to twenty for Saturday. If I can keep up this pace over the next couple of days, I will be ready to start working on my Scene Outline on Sunday. I don’t know how many single paragraphs I will be getting on Sunday if I do start my Scene Outline then, but it could be like last Sunday. After all, I will be starting this Outline from the beginning too. Hopefully, it won’t be that bad. The first thing is first. I still need to get to the end of this Story Outline before I can start working on my Scene Outline for this project. It sure does look like I’m going to be able to get to my Scene Outline by Sunday. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. This scenario has happened before. And the results weren’t what I want them to be. |
