A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

A Whole Lot Better Than I Expected
A Whole Lot Better Than I Expected

This may be an extremely short blog entry today. Of course, I have written that before. And it turned out to be just the opposite or very close to it. But it may be this time. Then again, I it may not be because my laptop is acting up again. I may not get this blog entry in on time today because of it.

Why will this be a short blog entry? It’s not because of what I have to write about because I have a lot to write about. It will be because of the lateness of the day for WDC, the lack of sleep, and the weather. Put them all together and that’s the reason why.

It’s not unusual for me to get only five or six hours of sleep on a Saturday because I worked a twelve-hour shift today and tomorrow. I don’t have too much time between them to get too much sleep. But today it was even worse because of the bad weather. That always cuts back on my sleeping.

I have been tired all ever since I woke up a few hours ago. And I think that I dosed off just before the time to start writing this blog. That’s why I’m getting so late of a start in writing it. One of the reasons why I may not get it posted in time today.

That’s enough of the rantings and ravings. Now it’s time for some very good news. I not only finished my Story Outline for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. But I did it in about three and a half hours earlier today at work. About two hours before I thought I would get it finished.

As a result, I also started working on my single paragraph Scene Outline earlier today. Unfortunately, I didn’t get too far along on it. But better than I expected for the beginning of this movie. I got eleven single paragraphs written for this numeric Outline.

That equals nine scenes and two Establishing Shots. It may not read like a lot of writing. But it is for me. Especially, since it started getting a little busy at work the last few hours of my shift. Between that and it being the beginning of this movie, I think that eleven is a very good number.

In just a little bit over an hour from now, I start another twelve-hour shift at work. What does that mean for my writing? It means I’m going to continue working on this Scene Outline. I don’t know how much of it I will be able to get done. But I’m going to get as much of it done as I can.
