Taking up the Cross

Oh, my! What a difference a day makes! Just watched the 2019 version of Pilgrim's Progress on Amazon Prime. Talk about hitting the "feels".

It seems that I am being drawn closer to the Lord, and even though there are trials (aka speedbumps), I have to keep going and trust that He has a plan for my life, if I would just look to Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV

But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Oh to be able to see and hear of the wonderful promises of God! I want to strive to do this, and even like Christian, in the movie, I may trip and fall along the way, but God's promises are still true and real.
