Shaking up the Marbles

It's been a few days since I've written on here. I haven't felt well enough to concentrate on things, and after going gung-ho for a couple of months, I felt like I was flaming out. I still love writing my poetry, entering contests, and have been inspired by the wonderful people.

I am approaching the holidays with not quite the same enthusiasm as before. Maybe, because I've been out of work since July; maybe because it's still going to be a bit before I can work. I am in a reflective kind of mood, but I don't want to become melancholy. Is that a thing? Melancholy? LOL...

Just a lot of things on my mind, I guess. Disorganized? Most likely. Bored out of my skull? Sometimes. Life is what it is. Writing is helping me out a lot, and I will just keep going, hopefully having something to share.
