Cheering Up
Cheering up someone
Not knowing why
Giving them a boost
Not making them cry
Encouragement given
A few kind words
Giving a hand
Compassion is stirred
Not looking for payback
Only paying it forward
This sentiment is just
What the "doctor has ordered"
Sometimes, we all just need an "atta-boy"/"atta-girl". Some are gifted with the ability to encourage others. It is like second nature to them. For some, just a reminder is needed. Still, others...it is as alien to them as beings from outer space. Regardless of where you are on the "cheer-o-meter" scale, it can be a blessing to get into the habit of being an encourager. It doesn't have to involve money, only a few minutes of one's time to let someone know you are thinking of them, or that they were on your mind. You may never know this side of eternity what those few minutes may mean to someone, but the rewards you store up would be well worth it.
Just my marbles swishing around.
