A blog detailing my writing over the next however long. |
November 12, 2022, 6:15pm So, the weather here today was wild and wintry... which is odd because summer is only 18 days away. Truly horrid weather, and so moving my stuff to the storage shed was out of the question. I had no packing to do, no-one to visit... so I write. And I got another 10k writing day. In fact, 11,800-odd words. This means my personal goal of 75k words for NaNo was achieved on day 12. The story is still going, so let's see how long it ends up being. Days like this are what I live for as a writer. The ideas flow and everything falls into place. It's amazing what depression allows you to do when you don't want to think about it, and that's how I felt today. So, the MC/narrator discovered he has a sister he didn't know about, she turns up on his doorstep, a strange priest from Ireland appears, the MC gets a girlfriend, then demons attack and he discovers his sister isn't 100% human. He can't cope with his sister being what she is, so he rejects her, then the demons kill his girlfriend. He and the sister are now both hunting demons, both for revenge. Simple, huh? |
