20221120 NaNoWriMo X

Well, five days of reading has come to an end.

After my first quick read-through edit, the story written for NaNoWriMo is now 98100 words. So much excess! 3000 words deleted because things just aren't needed. Extraneous information, descriptions that amount to nothing, things like that. It also has a title now - Rhiannon And Me. I will put it away for a few months (at least 6, but could be longer depending on my writing schedule/ability to get to a computer from next month) and then hit it again.

Like I said, it's not brilliant; I have far better works on my computer and so I will try to sell them first. The idea of a man finding a daughter that I put online here (well, chapter 1) has also been shelved because I reckon that is what gave me the idea for this one of a man finding a sister. The two concepts are not different enough, even though what they lead to is very different (demon hunting here, clones in the other one).

Oh well, life of a writer, I guess.
