#12 - I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day -TDOC
Poem written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow around 1863. His life had taken some severe turns, losing an infant daughter, later on losing his wife, and very nearly losing his son during the Civil War. It is amazing what is in man's heart, when he is on his "last leg" and crying out to God.
