So...

Writering.

I have not done a lot of submissions in 2022. Part of that is I have been editing my novels to be the best they can be before sending them off, and another part is life keeps getting in the way.

However, every so often I have put stories out there and of the four submissions I did in 2022, 2 have resulted in positives. The first of those is available now.

When you are in an anthology, there are two spots you aim for. Being the first story in a book because you set the tone and encourage people to keep reading, and being the last story in the book because that is the one people will go away remembering. I mean, being in a book is wonderful, especially with so many people trying for those spots, but those are the positions you should aim for.

Mirror Mirror (Iron Faerie Publishing, 2022)  Open in new Window.

Well, in Mirror Mirror, my story 'Thomas' opens the collection.

Hey... something vaguely positive...

Which almost makes up for the fact the publishing firm I have signed a multi-book contract with seems to have gone under, and so not only do two accepted books not get published, but it seems I am going to have wait a long while for my royalties...
