Enter into the Kingdom by the Blood of the Lamb |
"It is easier For heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void." Some, even in the church, think that sin is based on the outward evil expressed by other people, not something embedded in our own hearts. It is easy to look at a mass killer and say, "there is an evil wicked person!" Or look upon the perpetually stoned mother of three, neglecting her children and say, "what an awful sinner she is!" But the Law of God is not beholden to any interpretation of man. It is not made null and void by the laws of man. Murder is always in the heart of man. Curses, theft, envy, hate and sexual immorality is woven into the fabric of every man, woman and child. It is as deadly a component of man as the disease within every cell of man's make up waiting to be unleashed by our careless, thoughts, words and actions. Luke 16:14 - 17 The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things, [parable of the 'dishonest manager,' and they ridiculed him. And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God. “The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.” Jesus came into this world not to condemn it but to fulfill every promise made to the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Samuel. To establish forever the Tabernacle promised to King David. He knew no sin, but was tempted in every way that mankind is. He demonstrated the way to walk holy and dedicated to God, and left His Church with the expectation that we would do the same. He cleanses from sin, but did not eradicate it. Christians are not "vaccinated" to avoid the heartbreak of sin, but given the Holy Spirit to overcome the powers that would insist that we indulge in the sins of a corrupt, filthy, society and culture. Yes, He will redeem us from the punishment we deserve, but He is the Master and King who expects the servants to follow in the way of righteousness and holiness, He displayed in His ministry on earth. The Law and the Prophets were until John the Baptist! Now there is Joy for Christ has come to fulfill the Law and Prophets! Joy because Jesus has opened the gates of the Kingdom of God, through His sacrifice on the cross! ~Kenword~ ♫~ Kenword~♫ (101@100513)_(101x2@030614)_(101x3@021515)_(101x4@111615)_(100x6 031820)_ (YCM_@122313) 11.28.22 (Recognition 300 11.29.22) |
