What does the Lord put in our hearts? (Ps. 4:7)



Psalm 4:7, ESV: You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.

The Lord has put such a joy in our hearts, that even a full-on Mardi Gras Parade featuring Dionysus (The god of revelry and wine) cannot compare. And the joy the Father gives us doesn't lead to a hangover, either...LOL

It is good to have the joy of the Lord, for it is our strength as well.

“The joy of the Lord is my strength” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Just my thoughts on the matter. Let us rejoice that we can have His strength.
