A Touch Of Spring Has Come
A touch of spring has come
                   To my favourite thinking place.
                   Pale pink blossoms far above
Cast a blush across my face.

                   Everywhere I look,
                   Pretty petals all around.
Like a fairy wedding held here,
                   Their confetti on the ground.

I sit and let my eyes drift closed
I’ve a thought or two to ponder.
The quiet stillness, the gentle fog,
I let my mind just wander.

I hear just a gentle, wordless noise,
                   A melodic bumblebee hum.
                   A blossom floats down dreamily...
A touch of spring has come.
