This is a collection of poems told from fictional view points. They are not about me.

Not Ready To Say Goodbye
I can rage against the heavens,
scream until I'm hoarse,
curse and swear and rant and rave,
but it won't bring you back.

I can sob so hard my chest hurts,
my pillow's wet with tears,
and my eyes are swollen shut,
but it won't bring you back.

I can descend into the darkness,
silence and despair,
let grief swallow up my soul,
but it won't bring you back.

Nothing will bring you back.

But I wasn't ready to say goodbye.
