Why Parables?
Prayer prompt
Pray for revival to sweep across the world.

blog prompt
Why do you think Jesus taught using parables?

A parable is a relatable story. Even an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Jesus' teaching in parables was two-fold: So that he could explain the meaning to His disciples, but to the ones who didn't want to "hear" or "see" what He was teaching, it confounded them and they couldn't understand.

We know of parables, if we've grown up in the church; such as the parable of the 10 bridesmaids, or the parable of the sower. Also the parable of the speck and the log.
