Feb 23rd Happiness and also Thankful Thursday

Happiness is fleeting;
Doldrums seem to be the course
By which I go
I cannot even sugar-coat it through prose.

Though my heart is heavy,
Yet shall I hope in You -
Trusting that these mully-grubs
Will not conquer me.

Trusting in Your love; that You
Haven't forsaken me.
Always needing your grace and mercy;
Never in my own strength.
Knowing my Redeemer lives -
Full of grace and love
Using His strength and not my own;
Living each and every day.
