Walk a mile

A Sci-Fi Dream

I fell asleep on our cushy couch
and had an epic dream.
Too many movies or computer games
gave my dream a sci fi theme.

Captain Kirk was in there,
and his sidekick Mr Spock,
and by some cosmic coincidence
so was Marty and the Doc.

No Delorian or tardis,
they used a California car.
We didn't travel time though,
but the galaxies near and far.

Someone in core commands said
"These are not the droids you are looking for."
Confused and startled I looked around
then Dirty Harry walked through the door.

At that point I woke up, right bewildered,
all at sea and utterly spent.
Can anyone please explain somehow
what all that dreaming meant?
