365 Days of Blessing _ April 26, 2023

Dear God,

Your Son Jesus taught us Your heart on all things. Not everything is new since before He came, but the deeper reality of Your heart concerns are brought to light. There is, we now know, a door way into the kingdom of God that is narrow. It is not accommodating. It does not change. It isn’t redesigned to make allowance for many ways of entrance as the seasons change or culture changes. Its a door. Its been crafted to welcome in those who are chosen by You, and You alone to enter.

The one qualification is that You, through the Blood of the Lamb, know where the person comes from. The welcome on the other side of the door is predicated on the truth that one has been saved: heart, mind and soul. The door then closes and all is done. You are the one who determines the closing of the door. When will it be? No man knows. But I pray for those in my sphere who have yet to be chosen. May they be brought into Your Kingdom today, O merciful God. Amen.

Luke 13:24-27

Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying “Lord, open to us.” then He will answer you. “I do not know where you come from.”

Then you will begin to say, “We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.”

But he will say, “I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!”

O Lord Most High, here is my crucible today. My faith. I have come to You by faith, all of my life and yet with doubts about my worthiness, as well. As it is, it is Your worthiness not my own; not my worthiness but Christ’s in me; I am dependent on You completely Lord. There my faith rests. That I have an invitation to the wedding feast of the Lamb and there is the door in which I will go through, properly clothed, knowing well the Bride groom and You, His Father, I rejoice. Thank You Holy Spirit for more revelation and wisdom as prayer becomes the day and my day becomes more and more prayer. Thank You.
