365 Days of Blessing _ April 30, 2023

Dear God,

forgive me for ever thinking that earth is the final resting place of peace and prosperity. You sent Your Son Jesus to redeem what was corrupted by sin and death. He came not be a teacher about how to gain more of this world, but how to be assured of an eternal home by losing everything of this world. I repent of where I have made my prosperity a god. I repent of not embracing my cross today and always. Please forgive me of my insolence and sin. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Luke 12:49-52

I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled!

I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished!

Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you but rather division. For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three.
