365 Days of Blessing _ May 5, 2023

Dear God,

My heart should be examined as the dawn breaks. Is it steadfast? Is my heart a heart of love for You, the Creator of all things? Is the heart merry with the joy that You have redeemed one from the pit, and from the punishment for iniquity? The one thing that may be a wall between me and You, O God and cause my praise to be hollow and of little value is a heart that is failing to live according to Your precepts and direction. But I ask Father, that my heart would be ready. Make my heart pure, today and always, that it be free from iniquity by the blood of Jesus. It will be my delight to freely give praise and thanksgiving in the House of Prayer.

Psalm 108:1-3

My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being!

Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!

I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praise to You among the nations.

I will set my heart to be challenged by the Word and Spirit to be steadfast in my love and devotion to You, Lord Most High. I will measure my purity level against the rule of love. I will admit my sin. Confess my sin and be made more and more like You, my Father God. Then I will lift up my praise with great rejoicing. My voice will echo off the walls of Your Sanctuary!
