After the Dishes Are Done

After the Dishes Are Done

Fallen crumbs and bits
of pine needles tracked inside
from an outside stroll
need daily clean-up to keep
the kitchen floor litter free.
Quick sweep and wet mop
each evening after dishes,
Mama trained me well.
