I'm such a soft touch. And an idiot.
I was asked to ghostwrite an "essay" (I guess) for a man about his most memorable work-life incident. 1000-2000 words, and if it gets published in the magazine, he gets $75. He convinced me to do it for $35. Two hours of writing yesterday, an hour of fixing and editing with him today... for thirty bucks.
