Living In Biblical Times

Prompt: Write about what you think it would be like to live in Biblical times.

Women didn't have many rights. Women just cooked and cleaned. They married and raised kids. Dishes were all made out of wood and clay. You cooked over an open fire. No stoves or microwaves. I would hate cleaning fish. Jobs for women. Maybe work in outdoor markets selling material, jewelry. If you were rich, you would live in a palace. I would have want to lived when Jesus was on earth and be with him. I worked in nursing maybe I would care for the sick and work with with what little supplies were available. I would have to marry who my parents chose. Bathing in the Jordon River or one of the other rivers. I don't think it would be fun to live back then. No medicines. Worse then camping. Roughing it. Maybe live in a cave. No jeans back then. Just dresses. Long gowns. I don't think I would have been happy unless I had got to meet Jesus.
