Week 52 - Sorrow

Two years ago, you left us behind,
Hopefully finding peace after battling hard
against that insidious monster, cancer.
Life will never be the same, dear Sister.

You've shed this mortal coil, but are never forgotten.
Just the other day, I shared with our other sisters and dad,
Thinking about you on your birthday
that had just gone by.

They too, were thinking of you, Kathy -
Our hearts are still broken.
Our love is still there
Replayed through our memories.
