Dear God August 5, 2023

Dear God:

I am a little anxious about my surgery in three days so I ask you forgive me for being crabby and having no patience trying to do things around the house. Sometimes, I say an unkind word but I never take your name in vain. Help me relax and be calm. Let me know that you got this. Thank you for letting my husband and I enjoy ourselves last night.

I send out prayers for my family, friends, the animals, the war in Ukraine, all the people of the world and all my medical needs. Thank you for letting my kitty feel better. I am thankful for the rain today and our neighbor sharing his sweet corn with us and others.

Thanks for listening. Lord. In Jesus's precious name, I pray. Amen
