A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Only the Tag Act Left I did a total of forty-five single paragraphs earlier today at work for Episode Two, Not Hiding in Darkness, for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Nine of them were for my Teaser Act and they were three lines long each. The other thirty-six were either four lines each or five lines. Twelve were four lines and twenty-four were five. That means I only have the Tag Act left before I end this single paragraphs Story Outline aka nine three-liners. It also means I will be going into Episode Three, Floating Weapons, tomorrow at work. I’m not sure how long it will take to finish up Episode Two, but if I remember correctly, it only took about an hour to finish the Teaser Act for that episode. So, it should only take about an hour to finish this episode. Give or take a little. As soon as I finish with that episode, I will start writing the third one. I’m not sure how many single paragraphs I will get written tomorrow on this episode, but if it’s anything like today, I should be able to get about two-thirds of that episode done too. Overall, I should be able to get another forty-five episodes written tomorrow at work too. Maybe even fifty-four. After all, the first eighteen will be the three-liners. If I can get the four regular Acts, then I will be getting fifty-four written. It can be done. Especially, since it’s a Sunday, but I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. Whether I get another forty-five or fifty-four, I should be done with these Story Outlines by about this time next week. if that’s true, I will be starting my scripts next Sunday. Maybe even start them on Saturday. That’s when the fun begins. It’s also when I need to start making some decisions too. Mostly with these Story Outlines. I have already done it with my Scene Outlines. What am I writing about now? Whether I’m going to treat these Story Outlines like short stories or more like essays. They have been written like short stories, but the format for them has been more like essays. The Scene Outlines have already been broken down into a new page for each Act with a separate title page and a blank page for the middle of these Acts. I’m thinking about treating my Story Outlines the same way. The only difference will probably be that there will be eight pages instead of five or six aka the eight pages would consist of The Title Page, the six Act pages, and the blank page between Acts Two and Three. That’s probably what I’m going to be doing, but I haven’t made my final decision on that yet. What’s next besides the scrips themselves? It means I need to start transferring this handwriting onto my laptop so that I can start posting them to WDC. I know I will be posting the single paragraphs Story Outlines and the Scene Outlines, but I’m not sure if I will be posting the single sentences. After all, they are just used for the single paragraphs Outlines. |
