Monica opened the door to her quarters intending to go talk to Emerald Joh but instead she found herself in the foyer of the little house where her grandmother had lived when Monica was a child she could see her father sitting at the kitchen table sipping his coffee, as he read the Chicago Sun as she closed the door behind her she could hear the beeping of the timer on the stove and smell the aroma of of her grandmother's famous goat stew.
