Something New for Me -

I found a new group here at WdC called The Snail Mail Forum.

I am going to send out letters by this weekend, and I hope to get a few responses in return. This is another venture I am trying out to see what shenanigans I can get into.

I also learned of a new poetry form called the Marianne. I made up a poem, but it will take some practice for sure. But that's why I write - to hopefully learn and better myself. I've also done a couple of short stories. Not exactly my wheelhouse, but again, here's to learning.

 

I'm also doing some online free classes through Hillsdale College (based in Michigan) about different things. I just finished a class on Foreign Policy and am now working on Western Theological Tradition.

I'm up to 632 reviews done, and I'm happy about that.

I've also back crocheting, with 3 blankets in progress, ear wraps and a scarf for my daughter, and a few more ideas in the works. I'm also brushing up on learning "jelly roll" style quilt tops, so who knows what the new year will bring?

 

So, I'm wondering if I am going to try my hand at NaNo this year Not like I'm a glutton for punishment or anything...

So that's what's going on this week. Hopefully I will remember to post an Update in the Weekly Goals Forum tomorrow. Kids will be gone this weekend, so I will have lots of time to write (or get into mischief )
